What We Do...

Eco Coffeeâ„¢

Eco Coffee is our own brand of high quality, ethically sourced and zero-waste coffee whereby we collect and recycle the used coffee grounds into Biofuel. This Biofuel is then used to roast the next batch of coffee, so creating a closed loop, sustainable approach to your coffee. The Biofuel can also be used to make Coffee Logs for use in domestic wood burners or fuel pellets for Biomass burners. Eco Coffee is locally roasted in Dorset. Being local means a low carbon footprint for collections and deliveries, and working closely with a local supplier, means we can be sure of the provenance and sustainability of our coffee. We are always happy to arrange a tour of the roastery, giving you the opportunity to try a selection of coffees and see the unique Eco Coffee roasting process first hand.

The Green Cupâ„¢

Our latest innovation and new in the UK, ‘The Green Cup’ is completely Plastic Free. No PET Plastic and no PLA. They are 100% compostable, biodegradable and fully recyclable. So they can go into your paper and cardboard recycling. Traditional compostable cups are made with a plant based PLA lining and although they are compostable, they need processing in a commercial facility, and there are very few of these in the UK so far. This means that the vast majority don’t actually get composted. And if our cups did end up in landfill, they would decompose within approximately 190 days, leaving no chemicals and no negative impact on the environment. Unlike PLA compostable cups which will take many years to breakdown.

Clipper Teas

We supply a wide selection of the world’s first plastic free, non GM, non-bleached teabags in the world. Including some of your favourite flavours, from English Breakfast to Decaf to Chamomile and many more.

EcoWaterâ„¢

We unveiled EcoWater in late 2021, a reusable, refillable & recyclable water bottle. Made from 100% recycled aluminium it has a fraction of the carbon footprint of new metal, plastic or glass bottles.

Reusable Cups

In the pursuit of reducing the consumption of single Use Plastics, we recommend Re-usable travel coffee cups. We have a few to choose from including the Circular Cup & the NOW cup. These are made from recycled plastic itself, and is a leak proof, quality cup which can be used over and over. Personalised branding is also available.

Point of Sale

We supply a wide range of Point of Sale items for you to tell the Eco Coffee story to your customers. Manufactured locally, we offer a selection of laser printed, reclaimed pallet wood A-frames, table talkers and various signage plus bespoke coffee stations and display units. As well as pallet wood, we provide a selection of printed literature and signage to help push and to explain the Eco Coffee message to your customers.

Coffee Machines

As well as coffee, we supply and service a range of Coffee Machines from a small compostable pod machine to a high capacity bean to cup and traditional espresso machines. We are always pleased to discuss the various machine options with you and recommend which would be best suited to your requirements.

The Eco Coffee Journey

Waste Coffee Grounds into landfill is a catalyst for producing methane which is 20 times more damaging to the environment than CO2.
By tackling the waste the industry creates at its destination, we are helping deliver a cleaner tomorrow.
Eco roasting technology is paving the way forward to creating a cleaner and more sustainable coffee future for us all.
See below for the full, closed loop Eco Coffee journey.
Alternatively, if we aren't able to collect grounds from you then click here to find out more of what you can do with your used Eco Coffee grounds.
Stage 1
We deliver an order of Eco Coffee to a customer
Stage 2
The customer expertly brews a wonderful cup of Eco Coffee
Stage 3
The customer stores the used Eco Coffee grounds in a special repurposed tub/bin
Stage 4
We collect the used grounds (at the same time as delivering the next batch of Eco Coffee to minimise trips) and return the used coffee grounds to our roastery to be dried
Stage 5
The dried coffee grounds get pressed in to a biofuel then that biofuel is used to fuel the innovative eco roaster to roast the next batch of Eco Coffee
Stage 6
The freshly roasted beans are then quality checked and packed in recyclable bags ready for delivery.
