In order to give our customers carbon neutral Eco Coffee™, The Green Cup™ & EcoWater™ each member of The Eco Coffee Company team, in partnership with Play it Green, are pledging to plant 19 trees each, every month.
This will offset the environmental impact of each team members commuting miles, your products and its delivery, and in turn will help provide food, education and sustainable opportunities for developing communities around the world.
We also will plant a tree for any online meeting we have, as a thank-you for reducing unnecessary trips. If these meetings are to be done in person we will plant a tree to offset any carbon emissions from the trip. See what we’ve contributed so far in our ‘Forest Garden’ here.
To help our customers create a climate positive shopping journey we have recently introduced the option to plant a tree for just 50p with every order. Customers can plant as many trees as they would like, and their name and contribution will appear on The Eco Coffee Company’s ‘Forest Garden’

Planting trees is taking immediate action on your carbon footprint, supports local and global sustainability targets and will leave a true legacy for future generations.
With Science behind his words, David Attenborough has said that replenishing the lost ecosystem though tree planting is critical to reducing CO2, the main greenhouse gas, in our atmosphere. By planting trees with Play it Green you are removing CO2 from the atmosphere, providing employment and creating life. Our tree planting partner is Eden Reforestation Projects. One of the worst side-effects of climate change is an increase in social inequality, which is why Play it Green gives 10% of the money raised through our tree planting to good causes chosen by our community. We also invest at least 50% of our profit into start-ups that are innovating with climate solutions through our partnership with the Green Tech Alliance.
Play it Green was founded on the idea of doing things the right way. In a post-Covid worls we all need to be kmore conscious of our impact and wee like to think that we can be conscious capitalist and use our profit to do good. With that in mind our values are as follows:
