The Eco Coffee Company’s mission is simple yet impactful: reduce waste

The Coffee 2U Co Ltd was established in 2017 as a coffee business but encompassing all other relating products, from coffee machines to disposable cups, via hot and cold drinks. The fundamental drive behind the business was to minimise the impact on the environment and the company adopted the name ‘The Eco Coffee Company’ in 2018 and looked for more sustainable and honest programs such as ‘reduce, re-use and recycle’

In 2023 To provide great coffee without compromising on the environment, we invested in an electric coffee roaster and, through responsible sourcing, green energy roasting, grounds collecting/recycling and sustainable packaging, we made sure that every cup is as eco-friendly as it is delicious. Our offerings extend beyond coffee to include a variety of environmentally friendly plastic free disposable cups, local teas, vegan hot drinks and The Eco Water, which comes in a recycled aluminium bottle to be re-used and recycled indefinitely, allowing customers to enjoy sustainable choices that meet diverse needs.

Our mission is to inspire the community to align their goals with the future of the planet. By providing recyclable or compostable products, our strategy is to empower our customers with the tools to nurture the environment and reduce plastic waste, to educate them to make better choices. It would be nice to know that we have helped.

Supplying mostly the local community, we can see direct results of our efforts when it comes to collecting used coffee grounds to recycle. We are in contact personally with the coffee shops and can constantly update them on new innovations that could be rewarding to them. This in turn helps us work with local charities and environmental trusts through sponsorship.
