Everything we roast, we try to roast as responsibly & sustainably as possible.
Both our roasters, the baby sampler* and our main 15kg roaster, are fully electric. The electricity we use is sourced from 100% green, renewable energy from wind and solar farms in, and around, the UK… thanks to our friends at Ecotricity.
We make sure the coffee we import & use is traceable back to the farm or cooperative at origin and is cultivated and harvested using ethical & sustainable practices. They may not have fairtrade certification, but we make sure that we pay well over the fairtrade price to start with.
*We do not sample roast babies… only coffee.
